Following A Successful Summer Event, The Real Metaverse Event Will Be Held in Shibuya and Harajuku!

HIKKY( Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Yasushi Funakoshi) will hold "Virtual Market 2023 Real in Shibuhara" (also known as Vket Real), the second real event of the world's largest VR event "Virtual Market", which has acquired the Guinness World Record™. The event will be held over two days on December 16 (Sat.) and 17 (Sun.), 2023. After the previous event in Akihabara, which attracted 40,000 visitors, this year's event will be held in Shibuya and Harajuku, one of the corporate exhibition venues for Virtual Market 2023 Winter, and will be a new form of real Metaverse event that combines Metaverse culture and Shibu-hara culture.

This year marks the 5th anniversary of the Virtual Market (a.k.a. Vket), which will be held for the 11th time in total. The 10th Vket in the summer was the first real event to be held in Akihabara. More people than expected attended the event, and 40,000 people visited the market in two days.

This time, the stage will be moved to Shibuya/Harajuku, the cutting-edge area where various cultures come and go, to let more people know about the culture of Metaverse and experience the fusion of the latest Metaverse and Shibuya/Harajuku culture.

The key visuals will incorporate Shibuya Harajuku culture and metaverse culture. We have invited Ms. Haruka Kurebayashi, a Decora fashion model, Ms. Sakurako Hoshina, a Lolita fashion model, Ms. Kyu-chan, a professional streamer who belongs to an e-sports team, and other people who enjoy stylish fashion in metaverse to appear in the key visual. In addition, avatar images solicited from the general public will be used in the key visual to complete the final key visual. The final key visual will be used for various purposes, such as venue decoration, website, and advertisements.

The Virtual Market 2023 Real in Shibuya and Harajuku will be held at a total of five venues in Shibuya and Harajuku, allowing visitors to enjoy the latest content that transcends the boundaries between the metaverse and the real world at each venue as they tour the two cities.

The venue "Himmelblau Harajuku" is located right outside the Takeshita Exit of JR Harajuku Station. This will be the general reception point for content such as the mystery-solving game that will take you around the streets of Shibuya and Harajuku, as well as for Vket's well-known corporate booths and photo spots unique to Vket Real.

In the 1st and B1F areas of Wharf Harajuku, there will be corporate booths and booths by "para-real creators," next-generation creators active in both real and virtual worlds, as well as a multilingual "AI-equipped Vket-chan" on display. In addition, original goods from Virtual Market will also be on sale.

UNKNOWN HARAJUKU is an alternative old private house space located right next to the Jingumae intersection. Here, in addition to exhibits of works by creators, the latest metaverse art culture will be presented, including VR art exhibits.

"SHIBUYA109" is a sacred place in Shibuya! The latest version of "Avatar Meets" will be held at the event space in the store, which was very popular last time and enjoyed by all kinds of people from children to foreigners.

"Shibuya Sakura Stage", a new landmark in the Sakuragaoka area of Shibuya, is scheduled to be completed this November. The stage event, which was very popular last time, will include influencers from various industries! In addition, there will be corporate booths and a hands-on space where visitors can casually play in metaverse.

The collaboration cafe event, which was very popular last time, will be held again this time! Vket real original drinks and limited edition collaboration cafe goods will be sold! Details of the stores and other details will be announced at a later date.

On the same day as the Vket Real event, HIKKY will host a large-scale off-line meeting! A total of 400 people will be available for the off-line meeting.
