A Full Lineup of Must-See Contents! Featuring the Popular “Parareal Creator Area” and the New “Vket Diner”
HIKKY Co., Ltd. will host “VketReal 2024 Winter,” a real-world event inspired by “Virtual Market (Vket)” - the world’s largest metaverse events, which has attracted over 1.3 million attendees, and holds four Guinness World Records™. The event will take place on December 21st and 22nd, 2024, at Ikebukuro Sunshine City in Tokyo. Building on the success from this summer, we’re bringing back popular interactive content like the 'Immersive Store' and 'V-Battle,' which allow for communication between the virtual and real worlds, along with the debut of the “Vket Diner,” where guests can enjoy light meals. We’ve created content that lets virtual users experience the real Ikebukuro venue from home, allowing them to, “step into the real world in their virtual form.” Our goal is to make the event enjoyable for everyone, whether attending in person or virtually.
This key visual was illustrated by the popular artist HEART (https://x.com/heatinazuma) to capture the theme 'Exploration Festival: Virtual ⇆ Real! Dive into an Infinitely Expanding World of the Unknown!” We combined 3D avatars submitted by virtual users to evoke the thrill of a shared adventure, diving together to uncover hidden treasures. The 3D avatar submissions have always been a popular event, and this time we received a record-breaking 1,000+ entries, showcasing the increasing excitement for each VketReal event. In the future, we plan to use the submitted avatar images for venue decorations, such as a giant panel at the entrance. Stay tuned!

At the venue, visitors will be greeted by a large panel displaying key visuals with avatars of social VR users. The avatar images used in the key visuals were solicited through social networking services, and a record number of over 1,000 avatars were submitted. Look for yourself or your friend's avatar at the venue!

The venue, “Ikebukuro Sunshine City Bunka Kaikan Building 2F, Exhibition Hall D” offers 1,400m² of space, making it the largest venue ever for VketReal. This ample area allows visitors to move around comfortably, even with a large number of attendees. We have introduced a “Free Zone” accessible to everyone, and a “Ticketed Zone” (paid), providing a space for more in-depth experiences. In the “Ticketed Area,” we've included the ever-popular “Parareal Creator Area,” known for drawing long lines each time, along with attractions like the “Immersive Store'”and “V-Battle,” which allow guests to enjoy interactive experiences bridging virtual and real worlds.

The timetable for the “Community Stage” featuring community members and performers active on VRChat is now available! VRChat and Vket collaborate again!
Following VketReal 2024 Summer, we will collaborate with VRChat, one of the world's largest social VR platforms, in a real⇆virtual collaboration. You can also meet the VRChat staff directly. In addition, a variety of VRChat x Vket original collaboration goods will be on sale at the venue.

Enjoy Vket Diner! - Now Open! Savor the Taste of Original Dishes such as Fujisan Curry!
In the area by the Community Stage, the brand-new “Vket Diner” will be open for the first time at this event. The menu will feature exclusive VketReal dishes, such as “Fujiyama Curry,” inspired by the corporate world “Parareal Mt. Fuji” in Vket 2024 Winter, along with dishes shaped like the popular mascot character “Muy.” As a bonus, customers at the Diner will receive a special gift, a “Vket Community Collab Cards,” a series of trading cards in collaboration with popular VRChat communities. The popular summer game “V-Duel,” a virtual and real-world shooting gallery experience, returns this winter with new updates. Real-world participants, equipped with controllers modeled after Tokyo Marui’s airsoft guns (without firing BB pellets), will aim and shoot at virtual participants. The virtual participants must dodge the shots while collecting “chocolate fondue” to earn points. Who will claim victory and earn the title of the “Christmas King”?
