Metaverse coterie magazine sales event that can be participated in via web browsers such as smartphones and PCs
HIKKY (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yasushi Funakoshi) will hold a coterie magazine exhibition "ComicVket 3" on the Metaverse from February 23th (Thursday) to March 5th (Sunday), 2023. You can participate in the event even if you do not have a VR device and can use a web browser such as a smart phone or PC. We are pleased to announce the latest information about ComicVket 3, including details about the venue where you can meet many works that match your tastes and other collaboration events.
The venue is "a sky library filled with the magic of creativity."
The venue for this year's ComicVket 3 is a "library in the sky" filled with the magic of creativity floating in the sky, a complete change from the "Virtual Akihabara" of previous years. We have prepared a variety of devices that will allow you to encounter works by creators.
Exhibitors' booths will be lined up throughout the venue, and visitors will be able to freely pick up sample pages set up in front of their booths to browse and purchase their exhibits, just as they would at a real coterie magazine exhibition.

In the "genre planetarium" located in the center of the venue, labels with genres written on them float to the surface, and when you grab a label, you will be guided to a booth where exhibits are displayed according to the genre written on it. You can combine multiple labels and enjoy the unique gimmick of the Metaverse for a chance encounter with the doujinshi that suits you best. The "Doujinshi Tower," consisting of some of the doujinshis being exhibited, will tower over the venue, and participants will be able to encounter a variety of books in the tower as well. In addition, the "God of Books" will appear four times a day at the venue! The god is a "giant whale made up of books. The whale swims leisurely in this special VR experience.

Worlds divided into various genres
ComicVket 3 has nine genres: "Manga/Anime", "Illustrations", "Novels", "VRSNS/Metaverse", "Reviews/Information", "VTuber", "Games", "Materials", and "Others". They are divided into five worlds with different entrances.
During the event period, you can transition to each world from the official website. Visit the world of your favorite genre and enjoy encountering works.

Participants can use their own avatars on a Web-Browser Venue, which is able to be accessed easily from a smartphone
ComicVket 3 offers a "Web-Browser Venue" where you can participate simply by clicking on a URL from your PC or smartphone, even if you do not have a VR device.
At the Web-Browser Venue, we have prepared avatars exclusively for ComicVket 3, but if you have your own 3D avatar model (VRM), you can also participate with your own avatar.

Collaboration with Kanae Gakuen for the live program
Toppan Printing Co./Kana Pro Market
"Kanaeru Gakuen", the originator of Kana Pro Market, plans to deliver the third "Kanaeru Gakuen" live program on the "Kotori Koiwai official channel", which will visit the ComicVket 3 venue and be delivered live.
The program is scheduled for March 3, 2023 (Fri.) from 21:00 to 22:00. Guests will be voice actors Kotori Koiwai and Miyu Kubota, and MC (voice of heaven) Nanako Suzuki will appear on the show.
In addition, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 21:00 to 22:00, the "first" virtual fan meeting of Kanae Gakuen will be held on the same channel as an after-party for Kanae Gakuen x ComicVket 3! What is Comic Vket?
ComicVket is an all-genre online coterie magazine exhibition held in the Metaverse. The event will provide a place to encounter the works on display and for distribution while touring the various booths. The event was born in August 2020 out of a strong desire to provide a venue for coterie magazine creators to showcase their work amidst the cancellation of various events due to the Corona Disaster. This will be the third time the event has been held.
The works will be available for purchase via "download sales" or "paper book sales." If you find a work you like by referring to the sample pages, you can purchase it on the spot by flying to the sales site.
The URL can be shared on social networking sites, making it easy to publicize the location of the venue.
The previous ComicVket 2, held in November 2021, attracted a total of more than 180,000 visitors from around the world.
