Details of JR Tokai for Virtual Nagoya Station
HIKKY (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Yasushi Funakoshi) will hold the world's largest* VR event "Virtual Market 2022 Winter”. The event will be held from December 3rd to 18th, 2022.
Tokai Railway Company (hereafter JR Tokai) and JR Tokai Agency, Inc. will be exhibiting at this event for the first time, and will develop a 'Virtual Nagoya Station', a recreation of Nagoya Station on the Metaverse.

Starting from its railway, the JR Tokai Group aims to enrich people's lives through the enhancement of the value of cities and mobility along its railway network. By collaborating with various partners, JR Tokai is accelerating the transformation. The Virtual Nagoya Station created by HIKKY and the JR Tokai Group will take on the challenge of creating new experiences that link the virtual with the real, and of enhancing the value of new journeys in line with the 'NEXT Journey' theme of Virtual Market 2022 Winter.

The Best of The Metaverse You Can Experience! Contents You Can Enjoy Within The Virtual Nagoya Station.
In this edition of Virtual Nagoya Station, a 3D model of the real JR Nagoya Station has been elaborately recreated. The landmarks of Nagoya Station have been faithfully recreated, including the JR Central Towers and JR Gate Tower towering above the station, as well as the famous gold and silver clocks as meeting spots and the "flying" objet d'art, which was recently removed with regret. Inside the station, there are a number of unique Metaverse contents realized in collaboration with various companies. Avatars of Piyorin, Nagoya Station's famous chick-shaped sweets, will guide you around the station.

1) Only the Metaverse makes it possible! Linear Shinkansen virtual ride
At the Virtual Nagoya Station, visitors can experience a virtual ride on the Linear Central Shinkansen (L0 series improved test car) and the Tokaido Shinkansen (N700S). Once you pass through the station's ticket gates and run up to the Shinkansen platform, the Tokaido Shinkansen, which looks exactly like the real one, will be waiting for you. As you board the Shinkansen and enjoy your journey in the virtual space, a warp space appears in front of you...? Find out by yourself at the virtual Nagoya Station!

2) Who can climb to the top the fastest? Virtual climbing experience at JR Central Towers
Content has been prepared that allows you to climb the side walls of JR Central Towers, the station building facility directly above the station (over 50F above ground level, about 245m high), with simple keyboard operations. Take on the challenge and see if you can make it to the top!
*Please do not climb the walls of JR Central Towers in the real world as it is very dangerous.

3) "Love Live! Sunshine!" Collaboration booth to introduce tourist attractions in Numazu
The installation in the concourse of the virtual Nagoya Station, which will be named "Love Live! Sunshine!" The booth in collaboration with Love Live! Sunshine! on a map with famous scenes from the show. In addition, there will be a photo booth where you can take commemorative photos with the members, and a booth where you can watch the realistic live video footage of "Love Live Blade! Sunshine! Sunshine!" to the realistic live video footage.

4) You can take a photo with Nobunaga Oda! The Ambition of Nobunaga booth.
The booth, in collaboration with the popular game series "Nobunaga's Ambition" by Koei Tecmo Games, which is loved by people of all ages, features a 3D model of Nobunaga Oda, a native of Owari Province in present-day Aichi and a major character in the game. Feel the power of the model next to you in a way you wouldn't think possible in the virtual world, and take a photo with Nobunaga, which would be impossible in the real world! In addition, the military commanders who built castles along the Tokaido Shinkansen Line will be introduced along with the highlights of each castle.

5) Avatar of Ayako Suzukawa, Yoshimoto's railway comedian! Also announcements for Suzukawa-san and railway fans to look out for?
A cute avatar of Ayako Suzukawa, a famous railway enthusiast and YouTuber from Yoshimoto Kogyo, will appear somewhere in Virtual Nagoya Station! In addition, announcements about the Suzukawa-san/JR Tokai collaboration project*, which is currently being diligently prepared, are planned to be made at the Virtual Nagoya Station. It’s a project that both Ms. Suzukawa and railway fans will enjoy, so don't miss out!

6) Digital artworks by up-and-coming creators floating in Nagoya Station in the 'Emergence Gallery' collaboration
In collaboration with Chukyo TV's art project "Appearance Gallery", digital artworks by young creators will be exhibited in the virtual Nagoya Station Gold Clock area. Taking advantage of the characteristics of the metaverse space, we invite you to view a variety of unique artworks floating in the air, which would be impossible in reality. 7) The results of the popular vote for fashion and CG works by Mode Gakuen and HAL students will be announced at the Virtual Nagoya Station!
A collaboration booth with Nagoya's leading vocational schools, Nagoya Mode Gakuen and HAL Nagoya, will be set up in the virtual Nagoya Station to announce the results of the "General Election for Fashion and CG Works with Nagoya" held by JR Tokai Agency from 21 (Mon) to 23 (Wed) November in the event space in the real Nagoya Station. Mode Gakuen and HAL Nagoya", where the results of the voting will be presented. The booth will display 3D-modelled works by participating students, and will also feature a gimmick where avatars wearing some of the fashion works will walk down a runway in the Metaverse space.

Virtual and real-life linked projects such as the 'Metaverse Experience' at the real Nagoya Station will also be held!
In conjunction with the Virtual Market 2022 Winter, a special booth will be set up in the event space of the central concourse in the real Nagoya Station from 3rd (Sat) to 18th (Sun) December, where the following virtual-real interlinked projects will take place.
1) Experience the charm of the Metaverse with VR goggles! 「Metaverse Experience Meeting」
To ensure that everyone who does not have VR equipment at home can enjoy the contents of Virtual Nagoya Station to the fullest, we will be holding a 'Metaverse Experience Meeting' where you can wear VR goggles and experience all the contents within Virtual Nagoya Station. Anyone can use the experience without a reservation, so feel free to drop by!

2) Real-time interaction with popular VTubers at Nagoya Station! “Oshi! Nagoya-meshi" and get limited-edition goods!
An event* where you can interact with popular VTubers through a monitor will be held: on 17 (Sat) 12 December, Fuji Aoi and YuNi will appear, and on 18 (Sun) 12 December, Omega Rei and Omega Rio from "Omega Sisters" will appear and introduce their recommended "Guess! Nagoyameshi" and communicate with participants in real-time. Both days will be facilitated by Otsuta Elle, an official VTuber announcer for Chukyo TV, a local TV station.
*The event will be held in four parts on both days: from 13:30, 14:30, 15:30 and 16:30. Due to the large number of applicants expected, the event will be held on a lottery basis, with a maximum of 25 participants per session. Those wishing to participate in the event are asked to enter the lottery between 10:00 and 12:00 on the day of the event, using the QR code located in the special booth on the central concourse at Nagoya Station. (Winning results will be announced at around 12.30pm for each section).
In addition to the exchange event with the VTubers, during the event period, you will be able to enjoy each VTuber's "Oshi! Nagoya-meshi" at participating shops* in JR Nagoya Station during the event period, and who say at the shop cashier "I saw Virtual Nagoya Station! at the store cashier, you will receive a collaboration sticker with each VTuber in the Virtual Nagoya Station original design (limited to 1,000 of each, will end when all the stickers are gone)!

During the event period, customers who spend a total of at least ¥2,000 on various products and services at stores* in JR Nagoya Station will receive a virtual Nagoya Station exclusive "Love Live! Sunshine!" Postcard (limited to 5,000 and will end as soon as they are gone), which is available only at the Virtual Nagoya Station.

4) Solve the riddles at two Nagoya Stations, one real and one virtual! Piyorin's Mystery Solving Rally.
During the Virtual Nagoya Station period, we will hold a riddle-solving game that links the real and virtual worlds. Anyone can participate in the game from a panel on the central concourse of the real Nagoya Station, and try to solve a total of four riddles by going back and forth between the real and virtual stations (first 100 people).

In addition, at the Virtual Nagoya Station, you can experience painting a 3D model of a linear train car to arrange the color scheme of your choice, purchase a 3D model of "Shinkansen Goikatai Ice Cream" (ice cream sold in Shinkansen trains), which is known for its hardness, from a vending machine on the platform, and many other unique features of the Metaverse awaiting you!
