Ministry and other ministries will be exhibiting for the first time at the Virtual Market, and local governments will be exhibiting for the second time. The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) will be the first ministry to have a booth at the Virtual Market! The booth in the Susukino area of Para-real Sapporo, will display a "model room of a future home" in which a decarbonized society is realized in the near future.
In order to achieve carbon neutrality in 2050 and greenhouse gas emissions of 46% in 2030, significant reductions in CO2 emissions are required in the areas of lifestyle and living. The MOE has therefore identified an overall vision of people's future lifestyles, including food, clothing, and living, "10 years from now, a new affluent lifestyle that leads to decarbonization," to change citizens' lifestyles and consumers. Under public-private partnerships with local governments, businesses, and organizations, the MOE will develop initiatives to create affluent lifestyles through decarbonization. There will be a booth in the "Susukino Area" of Para-real Sapporo, one of the venues for corporate exhibitors, to promote "Izumisano, the meat of Izumisano".
The booth aims to encourage everyone who interacts with the meat to come to Izumisano someday and experience the attractiveness of the meat, local products, and tourist resources. Visitors can enjoy the "Virtual Tuna Demolition Show," which was very popular last time, "Virtual Tuna Ippon Fishing" will be added this time where they can catch tuna from a boat. This is a unique experience in the Metaverse with an even more realistic feel! In addition, six of Yaizu City's popular local products such as "Negitoro" (negitoro), "Katsuo no Tataki" (dried bonito), and "Nama Shirasu" (fresh shirasu), which are goods as tax returns, will be displayed in a 3D model.
