Exhibitor Applications Open for Music Vket 4, a Celebration of Music Makers in the Metaverse

General exhibitor applications are now open for Music Vket 4, a festival for music makers in the metaverse held by VR firm HIKKY Co., Ltd. The event will be held this summer from June 18 to June 26.

Music Vket is a multi-genre music event held in the metaverse. HIKKY started the event out of a strong desire to provide music creators and artists with opportunities to share their work amidst many music being canceled during the COVID-19 pandemic, and due to users' requests for a virtual music event.

The event will include an exhibition and marketplace where creators sell their music, as well as live performances by artists held at a special metaverse venue. At the exhibition venue, there will be music booths unique to the virtual space where participants can listen to and purchase music while interacting with other participants. Visitors can purchase songs by downloading the data or purchasing CDs online, and when they find a song they like, they can purchase it on the spot at the venue. At the concert venue, artists will perform live music in the metaverse, and their physical merchandise will also be available for purchase.

Users don’t need to have a VR headset to attend the event – attendees can join by simply clicking a link on a computer or smartphone when the event is live.

Music Vket 3 was held in November 2021 and was a great success. 269 creators and 16 companies/trademarks/artists exhibited at the event.
